Luxury Vinyl Tile- How is it Installed?

Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) products come as individual tiles or planks, which are typically glued down to the subfloor. With some products, there is also an option for a glueless installation. Using this method, the tiles or planks connect to each other using a built-in locking mechanism, allowing them to “float” on top of the subfloor with no adhesive. Also, many of the “tile look” products have the option to be installed with actual grout, for an even more realistic finished appearance.

If your subfloor is uneven, luxury vinyl is a superior choice, because it is flexible and can tolerate the irregularities better than a more rigid material.
