Pros of Luxury Vinyl Tile

The durability of flooring is graded on several criteria, but a major one is its thickness. In general, luxury vinyl tile flooring is two millimeters thicker than laminate or the wood veneer on engineered hardwood. While two millimeters does not sound like much, it offers years of additional use.

Moisture Resistance

In any busy household, moisture resistance is a key factor when considering flooring options. Admittedly, ceramic tile and hardwood are very moisture resistant, but luxury vinyl tile offers an added factor of resistance that goes beyond other flooring types.

Ease of Care

Perhaps the greatest benefit of luxury vinyl tile is its ease of care. Both ceramic tile and hardwood floors are going to need specialty care above and beyond simple mopping and cleaning. Luxury vinyl tile will not. Warm water and a mild cleaner will be all that you need.
