Flooring Design Sales Consultant
Do you enjoy helping home owners decorate or remodel their homes? Have you worked with home builders or small contractors to solve their floor covering challenges? Do you have experience with interior design or selling into the building products marketplace?
If so, then you may just be the next professional to join our team!
Martins Flooring is looking to add several individuals to our sales team. We have full time or part time roles available. Could be the perfect role for an individual looking to balance home life and work life.
We will train the right individual with a “can do” attitude. 1 to 3 years of experience selling and/or project managing in the home improvement, design, or real estate market is a plus!
Successful candidates may have the following:
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
- Well developed organization and time management skills
- Proven record of working as a member of a project team
- Experience tracking down and following up with sales leads
- Knowledge of the construction or real estate industry, with flooring services a PLUS
These roles may include some of the following responsibilities:
- Building client relationships through frequent communications
- Working in a showroom and/or traveling to client homes or job sites
- Collaborating with estimating & operations team of project managers, foremen, & installers along with product specialists & purchasing personnel
- Evaluating project complexity, sub floor conditions, construction methods, installation labor requirements & potential profitability of projects
- Conducting research of ongoing & upcoming projects & building improvements in the community

Flooring Installers and Apprentices
Come grow with us! Martins Flooring, with locations in Fivepointville, Lancaster, and Wyomissing, is looking for full-time Flooring Installers and Installer Helpers for all types of flooring, residential and/or commercial.
We are also looking for individuals who may not have experience as an installer, but are willing to learn. Maybe you would like to become a professional flooring installer. Starting out as an installer’s helper could help put you on the path to a rewarding career in the flooring industry.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Professional installation of all flooring products
- Safely operating company vehicles
- Directly reports to the Installation Manager
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in flooring installation preferred
- Have good verbal and math skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Have a stable work history
- Self-starter that also enjoys working in a team setting
- Ability to pass a background check & drug test

Builder and Commercial Account Sales Representatives

Martins Flooring is looking to add several individuals to our Builder Accounts and Commercial Accounts sales team. We have full-time or part-time roles available. Could be the perfect role for an individual looking to balance home life and work life. May be just the role for the seasoned professional to utilize their skills and experiences in a scaled down work schedule.
As with any role in our organization, the individual with a “can do” attitude is someone we’d like to chat with. A few years of success selling and/or project managing in the flooring solutions marketplace or home improvement industry is best suited to take off in these roles.

Commercial Project Engineer
Position Overview:
The Project Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the commercial sales and operations teams by organizing, coordinating, and communicating all necessary information related to estimates, bids, submittals, schedules, and installations. This position involves both in-office work and field visits, requiring strong administrative skills and time management to ensure deadlines are met, ultimately helping to drive Martins Flooring’s sales and margin goals.
Company and Product Knowledge:
- Gain a deep understanding of our company history, mission, values, and vision.
- Become knowledgeable in flooring products, installation methods, and the overall project process including scheduling, customer service, project management, estimating, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review daily and weekly tasks to ensure timely assembly of bids, quotes, submittals, orders, and installations.
- Gather project specs and plans for estimation and collaborate with estimating teams.
- Communicate with clients through both written and verbal channels.
- Manage installation instructions, product data, and samples during the bid and order process.
- Collaborate regularly with sales reps and operations teams in-house and on job sites.
- Travel to job sites for pre-bid, project, and selection meetings.
- Develop the skills to assist with project estimates, field measures, and manage occasional Superintendent and Project Manager duties.
- Maintain bid logs and stay current with industry trends through training and educational resources.
Role Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company-specific software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Valid PA driver’s license with a clean driving record.
