This commitment has enabled us to grow to three retail stores in Lancaster and Berks County, a flooring outlet, a carpet cleaning division, and a commercial flooring division. Current Job Openings

Estimator

The Estimator is a key front-line resource for Martins Flooring.

Traveling to client’s homes and job sites throughout a 6 county region in south-central Pennsylvania, an estimator uses their knowledge and training on flooring installation and flooring products to aid the sales team in the precise valuation of products, labor, and materials required to install floor coverings on a client’s jobsite. 

Provided with detailed information from a sales person working with a client, the estimator uses industry leading software, an iPad, and other tools to accurately evaluate existing site conditions, explain the functioning of product options, and rapidly communicate all findings to the sales person.

Some in-office work at a desk top computer is required.

Martins Flooring will provide role specific training on software, products, installation, and industry dynamics. The successful candidate will have both an analytical mind and a customer service outlook.

Compensation is in keeping with the experience/skills of the candidate. Eligibility for Health Insurance, 401k, and additional benefits is included.

Job Type: Depending upon the experience and skill of the candidate, could be Full-time or Part-time

Flooring Design Sales Consultant

Do you enjoy helping home owners decorate or remodel their homes? Have you worked with home builders or small contractors to solve their floor covering challenges? Do you have experience with interior design or selling into the building products marketplace?

If so, then you may just be the next professional to join our team!

Martins Flooring is looking to add several individuals to our sales team. We have full time or part time roles available. Could be the perfect role for an individual looking to balance home life and work life.

We will train the right individual with a “can do” attitude. 1 to 3 years of experience selling and/or project managing in the home improvement, design, or real estate market is a plus!

Successful candidates may have the following:

  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
  • Well developed organization and time management skills
  • Proven record of working as a member of a project team
  • Experience tracking down and following up with sales leads
  • Knowledge of the construction or real estate industry, with flooring services a PLUS

These roles may include some of the following responsibilities:

  • Building client relationships through frequent communications
  • Working in a showroom and/or traveling to client homes or job sites
  • Collaborating with estimating & operations team of project managers, foremen, & installers along with product specialists & purchasing personnel
  • Evaluating project complexity, sub floor conditions, construction methods, installation labor requirements & potential profitability of projects
  • Conducting research of ongoing & upcoming projects & building improvements in the community

Lead Window Treatment Design and Sales Consultant

Do you have experience with interior design or selling into the residential furnishings, window treatments, or home accessories market? Maybe you excel at project planning and want to personally grow into a sales role.

Martins Flooring is looking to add an individual or two to our window treatment sales team. These are full time, well paying, benefit rich positions in our company. This could be the perfect role for an individual looking to expand their knowledge of interior design and home improvement service sales.

We will train the right individual with a “can do” attitude. 1 to 3 years of experience selling and/or project managing to home owners or home builders is preferred.

Successful candidates may have the following:

  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
  • Well developed organization and time management skills
  • Proven record of working as a member of a project team

  • Knowledge of the construction or real estate industry, with window treatments a PLUS

Flooring Installers and Apprentices

Come grow with us! Martins Flooring, with locations in Fivepointville, Lancaster, and Wyomissing, is looking for full-time Flooring Installers and Installer Helpers for all types of flooring, residential and/or commercial.

We are also looking for individuals who may not have experience as an installer, but are willing to learn. Maybe you would like to become a professional flooring installer. Starting out as an installer’s helper could help put you on the path to a rewarding career in the flooring industry.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Professional installation of all flooring products
  • Safely operating company vehicles
  • Directly reports to the Installation Manager

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience in flooring installation preferred
  • Have good verbal and math skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Have a stable work history
  • Self-starter that also enjoys working in a team setting
  • Ability to pass a background check & drug test
